Poblano Pepper New Potato Salad
Summertime and the living is easy. And what is summertime without a little potato salad to accompany your grilling and feasting? Sometimes, though, I need a little more pep in my step -- and a little more fire in my belly. So I hunted down this recipe for some delightful -- but not overpowering -- spicy potato salad. Delicious!
Risotto-Style Potatoes With Rosemary Steak
This is an out there recipe that absolutely hits the mark. Take a few potatoes, cut them into chunks, and then cook them more or less like risotto. You can make them spicy if you want (I want) and they are the perfect complement to a nice steak if you're tired of mashed potatoes or steak fries. Not only that, but they'll have your friends confused about what exactly they are eating, which is always fun.
Chicken, Apple, and Goat Cheese Spinach Salad

This salad is just beautiful -- a real treat for the eyes as well as the tastebuds. It's a nice, light salad that doesn't lack flavor in the slightest. Chicken and apple is one of my favorite combinations, and this salad puts a nice spin on that with goat cheese and craisins.
Bacon Blue Cheese Burgers
My life has been nothing if not a journey toward new taste horizons. In my younger days, I had never tasted sushi, didn't like spicy food, and couldn't stand the taste of blue cheese. Only in the past few months has the last thing changed; one night, while noshing on some buffalo wings, I realized that I not only could tolerate blue cheese, but (don't tell) I actually kind of liked it. And so, with this newfound affinity for moldy, stinky cheese, I set out on a new burger frontier.
Mocha Walnut Cookies
Alright, enough of this salad stuff. Back to the cookies. I made these for Christmas last year and they were great -- a tasty coffee-tinged alternative to the usual chocolate chip cookies. They're thin, light, and super easy to make. At first I was worried when the batter was really runny, but they baked up well and the texture was great.
Spicy Chicken Caesar Salad
Sometimes I'm in the mood for just something tasty, spicy, filling, but not too heavy. On those nights, I often turn to the spicy chicken caesar salad. My mom used to make it a lot when I was younger, and it's a bit of a comfort food -- a four ingredient healthy meal that really hits the spot.
